Blog is back up

Finally! A long time after my site was down, and it's back up. The reason it was down is because my dad moved hosts and forgot to adjust my blog for the change. I actually felt inclined to view archives of my old blog at the Wayback Machine, since I knew I was on there, because I've seen my blog there before. I found some embarassing stuff, my writing was not very advanced at the time, but if you want to see it, you can click here.

Anyway, so now I've got a new site, what can you expect? Well, it's pretty much still focused on technology, I haven't lost my love and passion for that subject yet, and I don't think I ever will. How can I? Technology is awesome! However, I have changed quite a bit in my specific interests since that time. I used to love designing and web developing, but now, though I still love designing, my new hobby is programming. This is what I want to do for a living.

Back to the old site (last time I'll mention the old blog in this post, I swear! :-) ), I found an interesting nugget: I actually listed Toshiba as my "favourite computer company". I am laughing about that now, of course I was just a kid at the time. I had not really known Apple properly and I just loved my Toshiba laptop, as my companion and trusty workhorse. I did everything on that. And even though it had a design fault, where it would randomly shut down, it was the best I had at the time. I actually thought it was just my Toshiba that did that, but I remember researching the issue a long time ago and finding that everyone had the same problem. It apparently shut down because it got too hot and the fans were at the bottom, meaning I needed something other than a bed or my lap.

Anyway, back to current events. I am basically learning C (spare me the lecture, I know I'm a noob and C is not a good language for programming noobs. I'm just using C as a stepping stone for other languages, since C is what a lot of modern languages are based on). I am hoping to become an indie Mac and iPhone developer (or whatever product Apple has out at the time). If you are one and would like to offer any advice, contact me using the contact form (which I'll put up soon).

One thing you'll have noticed is that I make extensive use of brackets. I speak too much and I say a lot of unnecessary stuff, it's just one of my traits. If you want to follow this blog, (and I hope you do) you're going to have to deal with it :-P !

Anyway, I'm rambling. Point is, blog is back up! Enjoy!
